Assemblage

My freshman year at CSUCI, I took a color and design class. One of the assignments was a collage, or "assemblage" of different mediums. I was cleaning out my powerpoint files and I couldn't bring myself to let go of these images; they may be inspiration for a future project of mine. They were an inspiration for my assemblage project, which I believe ended up looking a little like the map in the middle. I even made the hole-punch butterfly in the middle. I didn't keep it, though. I wish I had.

Someday I'd like to make a foldout book like the one above. I think it's a more creative way to showcase pictures than in a picture frame.

I don't think I've ever mentioned that I had a big fairy craze in my teens. oh, I'm sorry, I meant Faery.

The pink skeleton pillow is a little out of place, but it was in the same powerpoint so I must have used it as inspiration at some point... I'm always drawn to the old, grainy feel of black and white images.
