I absolutely love Gilligan's Island. I love a lot of old shows. Sometimes I prefer to watch shows on TV Land than any show on today. I love Lucy, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, all so much better and funnier, in my opinion, than any sitcom on TV right now.

My family owns all the seasons of Gilligan's Island, so I'm very familiar with the show & the characters. My favorite character is Mary Ann, the petite, brunette farmgirl with pigtails. She reminds me of me! I actually did play Mary Ann a few years ago in a play our Young Adult church group did for a roadshow. It was fun dressing up as Mary Ann~ though I was a little more modest than she was on the show. I can't blame her, though, they were, after all, stuck on a hot, tropical island, and she did always have the red-haired bombshell Ginger to compete with.
