Ventura Harbor In The Rain

Happy Wednesday! It's been raining cats, dogs, and every other animal you can think of here in southern California. Seriously, it hasn't let up for five days! There is sunshine promised by tomorrow, but we'll see. I wouldn't really mind a rainy Christmas. It was a little unfortunate for my Utah cousins, though, who wanted to get away from the snow for the weekend got sheets and sheets of rain instead. We didn't let it stop us! On Saturday we had a little lunch at the Ventura Harbor in one of their favorite harbor restaurants, Spinnaker's. My fish combo kabob was pretty tasty. My cousin Kevin had clam chowder in a sourdough bowl. Yum. And crazy cousins wanted to have ice cream, too. They were determined not to let the rain dampen their vacation! It was so fun having them here, even if the trip was too short. Isn't that always the case?
