Last weekend, Franco and I had our first date alone since Clarke was born. We were in Santa Barbara for the weekend, and had his mom watch him for us while we went to a movie (M.I.B. 3) and ice cream at Thrifty. It felt like it was just the two of us again, but of course we missed Clarke and couldn't wait to get back to him! It was a very necessary outing and I'm so grateful for family who made it possible!

Way back when I was a little girl...okay maybe not that WAY back...I used to buy scoops of ice cream at Thrifty's for .39cents. Oh yes. It was amazing. Rainbow Sherbet was my preference at the time. Good memories.
