July 4 Weekend: B.B.Q.'s, Cake, Futbol, Games, Family, & Friends

Saturday, July 3: BBQ & Futbol at Mandalay Beach in Oxnard

We had cinnamon rolls instead of cake for Franco's birthday.

Everyone sang "Happy Birthday!" and he "blew out" his candles--it was too windy to light them.

Sunday, July 4: Happy Independence Day! And Happy 28th Birthday, Franco!

We had a bbq & cake at his parent's house after church.

Monday, July 5: Franco had to work--boo--but I went to our church's July 4th breakfast with my family.

After work, the Trickey family invited us to another bbq & games at their house.

We played "The Chocolate Game."

We all sit in a circle and pass around two dice and a plate. If a person rolls a 7, they have to put on a jacket, a hat, sunglasses, a scarf, and gloves as fast as he/she can before someone else rolls a 7. If he/she puts on all the items of clothing correctly before someone else rolls a 7, then he/she gets to eat a piece of chocolate.

That was our weekend! We're chickened out, literally.

We ate so much chicken...blah.
