I was so excited to have my friend Elizabeth Engle come teach the young women group at my church about her amazing photography skills last Tuesday.
Here are a couple of her images that I like:
She talked about the basics of photography~ composition, pattern, perspective, texture.
Then she opened it up for a question and answer period, and we got a peek into her world of photography, photoshop, and expensive equipment.
Some cool tips Elizabeth shared that she learned from photographing models:
*If you like to put your hand on your hip for pictures, turn your elbow slightly towards the camera so your arm won't look hugely out of proportion, aka fat.
*And if you don't do this already, study your face in the mirror and find your "good side." That way when you're posing for a picture, you'll already know which way to turn your head!
eww. i need a haircut, lol.
It was really fun to have her come out and I definitely recommend her for any photography jobs!
