Sunny Saturday

Hi! Sorry I've been awol.
I feel so out of it.
We had a great weekend: babysitting, rollerblading, family, friends, games, and dinners,
so when Monday came and we were beat.

Then I had jury duty yesterday so that pushed me back another day.
Anyways, I'm trying to catch up with our weekend,
a little late, but better late than never!

Saturday morning was beautiful & sunny.

Franco went rollerblading and I took some video of him.

He played roller and ice hockey when growing up so he makes blading look so easy.

We bumped into Susie, Clay, and Noah having a picnic by our apartments.

Franco took Noah on a little ride,

and Noah liked it so much he wanted more!

He kept running after Franco.

You can see in this little video how he tries to roller blade with his feet.

So cute.

For dinner we got together with friends from Three Kings Day.

Louisa {sitting at the head of the table} had us all over because she got a baby Jesus and had to have a little party in February.

We ate lasagne and other delicious food!

After dinner we played Mexican Dominoes

and Loteria, and bet candy for each game.

I lost all my candy.

:(

For dessert, I baked little pink cupcakes with pink frosting and made shapes on top with red sprinkles and cookie cutters.

The kids--including Franco--played some bowling in the living room.
