Mormon authors are taking the writing world by storm.
I joined goodreads.com a week ago, and found Wings on a YA book list.
I immediately checked if it was available as a pdf on 4shared.com,
ecstatic when it was, and read it in 2 days.
Go ahead, call me a lover of young adult fantasy.
I don't think I'll ever get over it, so I've accepted the fact that I am just that.
If you are one, too, or even if you're just looking for a quick, clean read, I recommend: Wings.

You read them as PDF's? Hmmmm, not sure I'd like that. There's something about a tangible book that I'd really miss. Plus, I spend too much time in front of a computer screen as it is, so I need a different medium.
hey! didn't know u were a blogger :P
yeah, as i've said before, i'm in front of the computer A LOT, too. when it comes to books, i prefer tangible any day, too.
but i'm one for instant gratification, & free downloads, so i can't pass up the opportunity to read a book i've downloaded within seconds without having to wait hours or days for it at the library, or buy it...i'm slowly ruining my eyes, i know, but hey, franco's going to be an eye doctor so i'll be okay in that respect, right? ;)
I'm a HUGE young adult fantasy fan (especially of the urban fantasy genre). I love most YA books I read but I love the fantasy aspect.
Did you like this one? I was so-so on it. Never really connected with the main character but it was SUCH an original and great concept (lovely cover too).
i did like it. i mean, it's been a while since i've read good, clean fantasy and it just pleasantly surprised me that it was an lds author, too. i say "way to go!" and i'm wondering where this will go~ if it'll be as big as twilight like they say it will be. {i personally doubt that will ever happen again, but u never know!}
thanks for the recs on keturah and lord death & shiver! i'm liking them so far :)
