Maybe I'll Buy Something Next Time

It holds a few diapers & wipes and hides incognito in your purse.
I made it! I'm talking about the diaper clutch from last week. I borrowed a rinky-dinky sewing machine {it cost like $30} so of course it kept jamming. A 30-minute project turned into an over-the-weekend project...total of probably 3 to 3-1/2 hours. Sad, I know.

The template was great! It was the sewing part with which I had the most trouble. Plus I lost the packet of clasps I bought so I had to quickly improvise with a matching button {which I stole...}. Then I had to hand-sew all the holes in the seams that the machine had made. I was pretty exasperated with it by Saturday night, so it probably looks like a 4-yr-old made it, but, hey, at least I tried.

So cute! I haven't 'made' something in a long time. You are inspiring me to get some sewing and creating done!

You did a great job! It looks fabulous! Thanks for emailing me the link.

I LOVE the fabric you chose. I have the same fabric, but in pink/orange that I used for my daughter's bumper pads for her newborn crib.

Sorry to hear about your sewing machine woes. I feel your pain.
