Terminator!
Can I just say how terrible I've been lately at judging if a movie is going to be good or not?
Transformers 2: yuck. The more I think about it the more I dislike it.
Harry Potter 6: I expected it to be just okay, but it was great!
Bolt: Finally saw it on DVD because I refused to spend more than $4 to watch it. Oh my goodness, it was hilarious!
So when Terminator: Salvation came out, I kept thinking, ugh, another movie about killing, explosions and sex. Why would I want to see that? And I was appalled that it was only rated PG-13. I had no desire whatsoever to watch it; even if Christian Bale was in it.
Then it came out in the 3 buck theater. Franco hinted that he really, really wanted to go see it but his guy friends had already seen it. I finally told him "Fine," and we saw it last night.
WOW. I loved it. Loved it! Tender story, no explicit gore or language, no sex, and non-stop action. {Do you think I'm getting desensitized to the whole "violence" thing?} Anyway, I was totally wrong about it. Hmm, now I'm wondering what to think about New Moon?

I felt the same way about Bolt. Thought it would be the most stupid movie in the history of movies. I couldn't stop laughing. AMAZING.
As for New Moon, expect the worst! Then we can all be pleasantly surprised. It's going to be totally lame... ;o)
