If you want to enjoy a day a calm, peaceful day at the beach, never go with a bunch of Albanians! Haha. Ela invited us to a birthday BBQ for her fiance Larry yesterday {July 25th} to which she also invited her Albanian cousins, friends, aunts, etc. It was a blast! And a beach trip to remember.
First of all, we get there and it's PACKED. And it's only 10:30 A.M! So we scramble to find an empty BBQ & table. Phew, we found one in the nick of time.
Second, we're not there ten minutes and one of Ela's cousins almost drowns! Luckily, Larry was in a life-guarding mood and ran in to save him, clothes and all...and ruined his phone in the process.
Why did Kevin, 16 or 17 I think, almost drown? Because of the 10-foot-tall waves! I don't think I've seen such monster waves on the PCH {Pacific Coast Highway} ever before! It was insane.
Franco & I babysat for our niece Shek so we took her with us.
She was fine~sucking her thumb & enjoying the crash of the waves on the shore.

It was seriously a trip, but we had tons of fun & we loved spending time with Ela, Larry, & her peeps.
Have you heard the song "Baby Shark?" that the Young Women usually sing at girl's camp? Well, I made my own version:
"Baby Shek, do doo, do do do do doo, baby Shek, do doo, do do do do doo, baby Shek!"
Okay, it wasn't that funny, sorry...
