Young Women's Camp 2009
Camp Whittier, Santa Barbara, California
Isn't this cool? They're miming the logo as part of their skit. I love these girls!
The arts-&-crafters:
My sister Ruth {bottom left}, Alisa {bottom right}, Airin {top right}, and Kimmey {top left} watching the skits on Tuesday night
On my way to the mess hall, or "iEat" as we dubbed it
Friday morning we took a "Virtue Walk" {at 6 am!} and the girls signed a gold flag promising to be women of virtue.
120 girls!
Me & Ruth. It doesn't look like I'm 10 years older than her, huh??
The leaders
Friday was "iClimb" and "iSwing"~ the rock wall & zip line
Wahoooo!
The YW from Camarillo 5th Ward
The mastermind behind it all~ Sister Corrine Barlow.
My bunk bed.
iSurvived!
The theme was a success, the girls were amazing, and the whole week was a blast. I can't believe it's over. The cool part was that it was my little sister's {okay, she's taller than me, but I'm still older} first year! I'm so happy I was able to be there with her. Franco was even able to come up one night. That's a whole other story, which I will tell when I receive pictures from other people. I was in charge of all the arts and crafts. Each day we'd do a different craft, but the most popular were the pin-back buttons & tie-dye. I love these girls! I loved camp! I want to go again!
