Snicker

I saw this poster from 1959 and snickered at the sentence "Not suitable for children." I absolutely love this movie and though I wouldn't think a 6 or 7-yr-old would really sit through it, {1. because it's black and white, and 2. because it's an old movie with old actors...} it's definitely higher up on my list of "preferred movie-viewing for children" than say, oh, pretty much everything that's come out in the last couple of years. Franco & I sacrificed half our movies the other night...well, we haven't had the courage to throw them away yet, they're still sitting on top of our desk, willing us to watch them one more time before they go in the trash...but we've decided to filter the movies that enter our house so we don't have to "hide" anything when children arrive. The movies I'm most unwilling to part with are Ocean's 11 and the Italian job. *Sigh*.
