Remember Girl's Camp?

Then tell me what your favorite crafts were! I'm in the Camarillo Stake Camp Committee and am in charge of crafts for over 100 girls during camp 2009 in June!! I want to steer away from:

"Friendship Bracelet"

"Unicorn TP Roll""Bean Bracelet"

And go more towards:

"Fabric Decal Journal"

"Monogrammed Paper Art"

"Button Flower Clips"

These are just a few of the ideas I've found...I have to think of what will grab the attention of all the girls, 12-18 years old.

What are your favorite crafts? {Ones that you did at camp or otherwise: email me at anniezparis@hotmail.com, or just leave a comment about it. Thanks!!}

Oh girls camp! I was the camp director for our ward a few years ago. My girls really liked doing friendship bracellets.

We made something I called "princess first aid kits". We bought a bunch of pink first aid wraps, Hello Kitty bandaids, and then a bunch of princess stickers and jewels then everyone decorated the alchohol swabs and packets of medicine. Whatever we put in it. Then we bought plasic tupperware containers to put it all in & decorated the outside. Heck, I even still have mine!

We are heading to Torrace for a book signing. Is that anywhere near you guys?

When I was in charge of crafts for girls camp several years ago, I copied several pictures, and the girls enjoyed "coloring" with water color pencils & water on paint brushes. They also enjoyed making things out of leather: bracelets, key chains, book marks, etc. They would probably enjoy learning how to knit or crochet - enjoy!!

I loved making candles. Tie dyeing clothes is always fun as well.
