Cool Or Creepy?

My brother Aldrich is a very punk-rock, but not goth, kind of kid. He wears a pinstripe hat all the time and plays the electric guitar. He's 13. Anyways, he's attracted to books & movies like Coraline. On Christmas day, Franco read the graphic novel he borrowed from Aldrich by Neil Gaiman, the same guy who wrote Stardust & Anansi Boys {great reads, btw}. Franco liked it. He said it was weird, but that there were enough morals mixed in with the fantasy that made it worth it. I think he's just excited that he's finally read a book before it was made into a movie.

So, we're probably going to see Coraline when it comes out in theaters. I love the stop-motion animation & the Nightmare Before Christmas feel to it. {I do have a little morbid side to me :}

They used a creative marketing ploy, too, shown below.
