Where Does One Get Adequate Health Insurance???

Notice I didn't say "cheap," or "affordable" health insurance, but adequate, as in, if I had to go to the hospital for surgery what insurance wouldn't make me pay like $10 k? I have never done this before and there are just too many companies out there I just can't choose what's best for us. How did you find your health insurance provider and do you have any suggestions??
