Last week, Erin invited Franco and me to an LDS Latin dance in Huntington Park.
I've been there before--when I was single.
I wanted to dance and hang out with Erin.
Here are some things about single life you forget about
after you're married(at least this applies to me):
1. You have to look presentable. This is a chance for you to mingle with the opposite sex!
2. You have to carpool with other people to save gas. (That's actually a smart one. We should do that more often.)
3. Even though the dance starts at 9 pm and it's an hour and a half away, you leave at 10 pm.
4. At the dance, you know every song that's playing. And the latest dance moves.
5. After the dance, you're hungry so you go to a restaurant that's open late and eat a dinner-sized meal.
6. You get home at 2:30 in the morning!! But, all-in-all, you had a really great time.
I think I must have blocked all these things out after I got married.
Let's just say Franco and I were really, really tired the next day.
We're not the spring chickens we thought we were anymore.
Am I the only one who feels this way? Boy, I can't wait for the kids to arrive.
I don't know what I was doing
Best Buddies!
Franco, Anelieze, Erin, & Kyle. Either we're really short or...

Oh, so true!!! Michael and I feel the exact same way, and the "kids" are arriving VERY soon. It seems like you have so much more energy when you are single! But I still think married life is way better- no offense to any single friends.
