Date At Chuck E. Cheese's + Differences Between Franco And Anelieze

For our date night on Saturday we couldn't figure out something to do,
but we definitely wanted to get out of the house.
"How about Chuck E. Cheese's?" I said, totally in jest.
"Yeah!" Came the unexpected reply from Franco.
Blink. "Okay..."

So we went to Chuck E. Cheese's for a fancy pizza dinner & 25¢ arcade games.

I am completely deficient when it comes to playing video games, so of course I bombed pretty much every game I tried. Literally: I bombed my own airplane because I couldn't figure out which way the guns were pointing...anyways, that's one difference between Franco and me--he's naturally good at pretty much everything. And I'm SO not.

When we ran out of tokens, we still didn't want to go home, so we headed across the street to Barnes & Noble. We sat at the table in the kid's area and each picked a book off the shelf to peruse.

Here's another difference between us: while I love to read fiction, Franco barely got through the 7th Harry Potter book. So I was sure he'd pick out some book about science or optometry, maybe even a documentary type of book by the National Geographic.

I'm pretty sure you can guess what genre I picked my book from,
but can you guess what book Franco picked out?

I had to laugh when he came over and sat down with none other than the kid's book
Where's Waldo? In Hollywood! Remember those?

Just when I think I know my husband, he surprises me by his pleasantly unexpected quirks. I heart him.

Here's Franco, diligently searching on each page for the ever-elusive Waldo.
