Franco making V-day dinner

Mangu {mashed plantains with red onions} & Salame. He even made them into little happy faces! It's his favorite dish from the Dominican Republic and I must say it was very, very good.

I missed getting a picture of the two of us...oh well.

The weekend of Valentine's day, the Jades, Sarah & Brandon

{who concocted this wonder of a cake for our wedding} came for a visit from Cedar City, Utah. It was their 3rd anniversary. They slept on our small sofabed for a couple nights and on Saturday night, I requested Brandon make us some Cream Puffs!

He knew the recipe by heart! He made the pastry puffs, the whipped cream, and the pudding all from scratch.

I made a canvas bulletin board. I printed out a map of Paris, France on canvas, mounted it on cardboard, added the ribbon & tacks, and viola! It is now our "announcements & invitation board" for our fridge. There's no end to my Paris obsession!

A sight you don't normally see in Camarillo, Ca. Even though today is 76 degrees outside,

I still love how the mountains have snow on them.
